Protect Your Most Vulnerable Patients
Responding to kids in crisis can be more difficult than treating adults because the earliest indicators of distress can be misinterpreted as nervousness or agitation. Plus, a child's health history is a work in progress and often lacks information on key allergies or sensitivities. That's why the skills and knowledge learned in the PALS® (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) course are so critical to your practice.
Our outstanding instructors lead this course, which is specifically designed for dental offices. Using patient simulators, you'll get hands-on training to prepare you to respond to a real life emergency—using equipment common to most dental offices.
The course highlights include how to quickly determine the right medication doses for children(163); learning to run a MEGACODE emergency in a dental office, rather than a hospital; and practice using AEDs and drills on patient simulators.
Complete all of the skills and written examinations to become an ACLS provider.

Why should I bring my team?
"I brought some of the team with me, including two hygienists and our assistant manager—all of whom are extremely reluctant to try new things. I sat at lunch today listening with amazement as they told me what we need to do to implement this in our practice! Your enthusiasm is infectious, and I will be sending the rest of the team to this course!" - Karen Harriman, DDSDOCS Education considers the dental team a vital part of good patient care and urges every dentist to bring at least one staff member to courses.
