Maximize your learning and productivity

Your patients trust you to provide safe, comfortable dental care. Using nitrous oxide with a single-dose sedative provides both pain relief and eases your patients' dental anxieties. Give us three days, and we'll teach you both adult and pediatric protocol—serving patients from ages 5 to 95—that you can take home and implement immediately.

When you sign up for the Single-Dose Sedation and N2O course, adding a day of pediatric training will yield the following benefits:

  • Increase your reach – Prepare to serve both adult and pediatric patients
  • Build your knowledge – Receive pediatric protocols that build upon the knowledge you'll gain in the first two days
  • Save money – Consolidate travel time and expenses by combining two courses
  • Train with experts – Learn from experienced professionals in the field
  • Fulfill CE requirements – Complete 24 CE credits

See the whole picture

Learning both adult and pediatric protocols will increase the benefit to your practice because you'll be able to apply your knowledge to more patients. Furthermore, because the population is growing rapidly, your ability to offer sedation options to children and teens will pave the way for future practice growth.

No two patients are alike, and even individuals change over time. Learning to offer services that meet the needs of a wide range of patients will benefit any dentist who wishes to expand their business.

Dr. Feck is an established clinician and educator who speaks frequently on the subjects of dental technology, practice management and sedation dentistry. Seeking a solution to the extraordinary number of people with dental phobia, Dr. Feck co-founded the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, now known as DOCS Education, with Dr. Michael Silverman in 1999. As the Dean of Faculty, Dr. Feck has played a major role in DOCS Education's growth as a leading provider of dental continuing education.

Dr. Feck has presented at local and state dental associations, as well as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and MasterPlan Alliance retreats. He helped develop the "Leadership Challenge," a series of courses designed to teach leadership principles to dentists. He founded Sunrise Dental Solutions (SDS) in 2007, a business solutions and consulting firm that helps manage some of the most successful dental practices in North America.

    Michael Kampel, DMD

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Michael Kampel's academic interests include many forms of sedation. During his dental training he studied hypnosis, nitrous oxide and intravenous sedation. In 1974 he built a successful practice in Long Island, New York, that focused upon the performance of dentistry in a low anxiety setting. Eventually Dr. Kampel's practice grew to encompass the high fear patient almost exclusively. Dr. Kampel subsequently assumed a leadership role in dental education and was named adjunct professor in New York's state university system.

Actively involved with many professional organizations, Dr. Kampel is affiliated with the Academy of General Dentistry, Suffolk County Dental Society and Alpha Omega. Dr. Kampel was ultimately elected president of Alpha Omega, a 15,000-member international group.

A colleague of distinguished dentists around the world, Dr. Kampel is also a consultant to Henry Schein, Inc., where he often appears as a featured speaker. He is an enthusiastic and highly rated teacher serving as instructor to such organizations as Walter Hailey's Dental Boot Kamp, Planned Marketing, Sunrise Dental Solutions, Mission Possible, and Making a Difference Today, among others.

Dr. Kampel is a Fellow of American College of Dentistry, Fellow of Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantology. In his leisure time he plays golf, reads, and along with wife Kathleen, enjoys five grandchildren.
