| Regulatory Support |

DOCS members have full access to the regulatory department for legal and regulatory consultation from 9:00-5:00PM PST.
Your dues give you access to DOCS' full-time regulatory attorney to help you stay in compliance with your state's sedation regulations. Every state in the country has different rules that are often difficult to comprehend. DOCS assists you in all phases of statutory interpretation for anxiolysis, nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, parenteral conscious sedation, dental staff requirements, office equipment requirements, proper drug usage, and continuing education attainment. DOCS also has constant communication with state dental boards and other national dental organizations to ensure that all of the aforementioned modalities are regulated fairly based on science and patient safety. DOCS will send out alerts on the latest regulatory news and help to unite DOCS members to appear at meetings with key decision makers.

| Sedation Research Fund |
|
The Sedation Research Fund (SRF) has been created to document the safe, effective and proven use of incremental oral administration for conscious sedation through performance of clinical studies and surveys.
Grants will be provided to researchers interested in studying oral sedative medications for the purpose of Anxiolysis and Conscious Sedation. The focus of this research is to create a larger body of scientific knowledge for Oral Sedation Dentistry. Donations to the SRF will be accepted from dentists, dental team members, as well as the general public at large.

A six month minimum obligation must be made for the monthly membership rate.

All dues will renew automatically each month/year, as indicated.

Membership cancellation must be submitted in writing and may take up to 30 days to process.
