The DOCS Faculty and Online Education Team are pleased to offer you a variety of web based educational experiences to support your continued quest for the very best in sedation and emergency education.
Nationally-recognized team trainer and practice management consultant, Linda O'Grady, has recorded a training session for your front office team.
This training will take about an hour and three quarters and is presented using Adobe Presenter. No additional software is required. Please check that your sound is turned on.

The program consists of seven forty-minute videos and a short test. You can complete the program all at once or return as often as you like for forty-five days from your registration date.
To receive your full 15 CE credits and ACLS certification, you must attend the one-day hands on training at any DOCS course location. You will also need to print the short quiz at the end of training and return it to the DOCS Online Education Department at the fax number listed on the bottom.

Incremental Oral Administration is a custom-tailored two-hour one-session online refresher course taught by Dr. Anthony S. Feck, DOCS Education’s Dean of Faculty. It is specifically designed for doctors and team members who have previously attended the Oral Sedation Dentistry 3-day program. The course includes video demonstrations of incremental dosing sedation techniques, patient induction, treatment, dismissal, and a consultation with a highly phobic patient.
Registration is contingent on attendance verification at one of the following courses: Oral Sedation Dentistry; Oral Sedation at NYU; Sedation Solutions; IV Sedation for Dentistry

Topics covered include a review of the sedative medications used in DOCS Education protocols, drug selection beyond just Valium®, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, reversal agents, and potential adverse reactions. The advantages and disadvantages of utilizing the oral route of administration is also discussed, as well as the seven key factors every practitioner should know to confidently deliver oral sedation.
