To receive certification participants MUST:
Demonstrate competency by passing tests in sedation pharmacology and techniques
Demonstrate clinical competency
Demonstrate airway management and emergency management
Provide malpractice insurance binders
Complete clinical rotations which are held at a JCAHO-accredited, multi-specialty, full-spectrum surgical facility.
