Audio Visual Requests

1. Room should have a high ceiling and the capability to be darkened for illumination of the projected slides. Hanging chandeliers should be considered as a possible hindrance to slide illumination. Skylights, windows, etc., are contradicted unless they have the capability of being completely blocked out. Overhead lights that wash out the screen should be turned off or unscrewed.

2. Two LCD projectors of a high quality with at least 4500 lumen are needed. The room’s sound system will be hooked up to both Dr. Silverman’s and Dr. Feck’s laptops. The mixer should be adjacent to the laptop to adjust the volume of their multi-media presentation. (Depending on room size, one projector may be acceptable)

3. Two large screens at least 8 x 10 ft. wide. (Depending on room size, one screen to the side may be acceptable)

4. Classroom style seating is preferred in a square or rectangular room to allow comfortable viewing of slides and note taking.

5. A wireless lavaliere microphone is needed for each speaker. A wireless hand-held microphone should also be available for questions from the audience.

6. A high stool in front of the room is requested.
