DOCS Education and Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seattle, WA – May 30, 2022
Memorial Day kicked off a year-long commitment by DOCS to raise awareness and funds for this compassionate scholarship organization.
As a leader in the field of continuing education and sedation dentistry, DOCS Education is also a consistent advocate for philanthropy and benevolence in the dental community. Beginning on Memorial Day weekend, DOCS was honored to pledge a year-long commitment to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
Inspired by the sacrifice of a fellow soldier, Sgt. William Delaney Gibbs, an expectant father who was killed in action in 1989, David Kim founded Children of Fallen Patriots in 2002. The charitable organization’s vision is to provide college funding to every child of a fallen patriot. Since its inception, the foundation has granted over $42 million dollars in scholarships and related expenses.
The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is creating a comprehensive database of surviving children so they can continue to provide funding wherever it’s needed. The group was recently bestowed the highest rating possible on CharityNavigator.org.
DOCS Education has provided superior continuing education opportunities to dental professionals for over 20 years, which made partnering with the Foundation in its mission to expand learning possibilities for these families a natural fit.
Beginning on Memorial Day when they matched all discounts on the holiday sales, and continuing through to Memorial Day in 2023, DOCS will continue to raise funds through events and special offers for the Children of Fallen Soldiers Foundation. They will also raise awareness through website and Incisor content directed at their thousands of sedation dentistry members.
In the meantime, readers can learn more about this generous foundation and their mission at FallenPatriots.org. For information on DOCS Education, their programs, and other philanthropic efforts, contact [email protected] or call 855-227-6505.
