CBCT Scan

Day One (January 31)

Advanced Interpretation of 3D Radiographs

Dr. Donald Alton Tyndall

Do you ever wonder just how much of your CBCT scanning software’s potential you’re using? Dr. Tyndall, DDS, MSPH, PhD, says that most dentists are not professionally prepared to read cone beam CT scans and evaluate for abnormalities. To prepare dental professionals to use, evaluate, diagnose and treat using cone beam CT methodology, he will teach participants how to systematically go through a cone beam CT scan, evaluate abnormalities, and determine which category of disease is involved.

Dr. Don Tyndall is Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the UNC School of Dentistry and Director of Radiology since 1988.

Dental Implants

Day Two (February 1)

Hot Topics In Implant Dentistry

Dr. Scott MacLean

Explore the fast-paced world of digital dentistry on a journey with Dr. MacLean to the operatory and the dental laboratory to see some of the latest technologies in action. Included in the presentation will be how to minimize dental implant complications, digital workflows for dental offices, when to use freehand, dynamic guided implant placement vs. template-guided surgery, and the cause and effect connection.

Dr. Scott MacLean is currently a director with the Seattle Study Club, and is a key opinion leader for 3 major dental companies.
