Get real-time measurements on the larger, smarter, yet slimmer iM3 Vital Signs Monitor. Lightweight and portable. It has built-in WiFi and barcode scanner, plus internal thermal printer and 360˚ alarm light. Works for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

The Edan iM3 ushers in a new generation of vital signs monitors. In addition to measuring SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation), NIBP (non-invasive blood pressure), and pulse rate, options include quick temp or infrared ear temp modules and a rolling cart. Perfect for both spot check and/or continuous monitoring of patients.

The monitor uses oximetry to measure functional oxygen saturation in the blood. It is a continuous, non-invasive method for measuring how much light is transmitted through patient tissue (e.g., finger, ear). The amount of light transmitted depends on many factors, most of which are constant. Blood flow, however, is not constant, because it pulsates. By measuring the light absorption during a pulsation, the monitor can derive the oxygen saturation of the arterial blood.
