Course Description:

This course is worth 1 CE. Free for DOCS Members and Trial Members. See below for details.

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requires certain employers to provide employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19.

Small businesses with fewer than 50 employees may qualify for exemption from the requirement to provide leave due to school closings or child care unavailability if the leave requirements would jeopardize the viability of the business as a going concern.

But on August 8th, there was a federal court case that calls into question this exemption for dental offices.

During this course, Paul Edwards, CEO of CEDR HR Solutions, discusses the FFCRA and your most pressing HR-related child care concerns.
