In this course, you will learn how to determine the medication and calculate the correct dosage for pediatric dental patients. Presented by DOCS Education and renowned pediatric dentist, Dr. Roger Sanger, DDS, MS.

Dr. Sanger will share his proven formula for determining safe dosages for single and two-dose protocols, as well as demonstrate how several actual patient cases were handled accordingly. You’ll learn what the best drug is for no memory, non-opioid treatment, which supplemental drugs to consider, and how to evaluate both patient and parent for pediatric sedation dentistry.

  • Learn two-drug sedation protocols for pediatric patients where permitted.
  • Understand the appropriate use of Midazolam and Hydroxyzine in sedating patients.

  • Examine the process of choosing pediatric patients and parents appropriate for your practice.
     

This class is intended for doctors and team members who have already taken our Pediatric Sedation Dentistry course. Previous attendance or current GA, IV, or pediatric sedation permit is a prerequisite for this online training class.
