Course Description:

This course is worth 1.5 CE.

As dental schools teach less and less oral surgery, general dentists need it more and more.

In this information-packed course, Dr. Karl Koerner will present ways to do surgery better and faster. How can you begin to offer more “surgical extractions” and other minor dentoalveolar procedures to your patients who need it and want YOU to do it? He will help you address those needs now, and for the long term, he shares a plan to become more competent and confident. Oral sedation is an important part of this.

How do you make yourself more valuable in your own dental practice or in a partnership or the employ of others? How do you compensate for a down economy, high inflation, supply chain problems, or employee shortages? Answer: By investing in yourself and gaining more surgery expertise. Didactic, life-like model work, patient treatment courses, surgical extractions, third molars, implants… It’s yours for the taking.

Learning Objectives:

- Discuss which surgery techniques elude many general dentists.
- Discover how to bring your surgery treatment more in line with oral surgeon standards.
- Expand your surgical knowledge and treatment skills for faster and more predictable treatment.
- Learn how to avoid or manage several common surgery complications.

Accelerate growth and improve your business by adding more oral surgery offerings to your practice.
