Course Description:
This course qualifies for 24* hours of CE credit that is automatically issued with a digital certificate upon successful completion of online training and live patient experience.
As more kids and teens are presenting with high caries rates, the last thing they and their busy parents want is multiple dental appointments. By integrating safe and effective minimal oral sedation for pediatric dental patients into their practice, dentists will provide benefits for the child with advanced caries, their parents or caregivers, as well as the dental team.
DOCS Education presents a premium online program combined with 10 in-person live patient experiences. Attendees will learn to perform one-visit, no-memory sedation on young patients who require complex care or multiple visits. This comprehensive course is taught by esteemed faculty members, Dr. Roger Sanger, DDS, MS, Dr. Leslie Fang, MD, PhD, and Dr. Steven Yun, MD, plus a Personal Learning Experience in a clinical setting with Dr. Peter C.J. Chiang, DDS in Salinas, California.

In-Person: 10 Live Patient Experiences
The Personal Learning Experience (PLE) places dentists and team members within a pediatric dental clinic to observe firsthand how sedation is provided safely and efficiently to a wide number of patients every day. Through personal attention and expert instruction, participants will have vital access to clinical techniques in actual procedures, as well as successful approaches to practice management.
Build on the knowledge gained from the Pediatric Sedation Dentistry course when you complete the learning experience with Dr. Chiang at Central Coast Pediatric Dental Group, located in Salinas, CA.
Bring Your Team
DOCS Education considers the dental team a vital part of good patient care and urges every dentist to include at least one staff member in the program. Whether assisting the doctor during the actual appointment or tending to the practical concerns of appointment scheduling and recordkeeping, a doctor cannot perform pediatric sedation without the help of his or her team.
