Allan Schwartz, DDS, CRNA, is an outstanding instructor who has been teaching anesthesia to dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, physicians, and nurses for more than a decade.
Dr. Schwartz is a 1980 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry) and a 1994 graduate of Washington University School of Nurse Anesthesia. He currently provides nurse anesthesiology as a locum tenens CRNA and is one of three general dentists in the State of Missouri to possess a deep sedation/general anesthesia permit. Dr. Schwartz is an American Association of Nurse Anesthesiologists journal reviewer and is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Periodontics at St. Louis University’s Center for Advanced Dental Education.
