With DOCS Education's Interactive (((Live))) Streaming system, you can accelerate your learning from the comfort of your home or office with this interactive, forward-facing program designed to meet your educational requirements.

It accomplishes this by combining interactive, two-way video conferencing, innovative polling, immediate response Q&A technology, and participant-focused Office Hours with DOCS Faculty and Regulatory Counsel.

Note: All interactive live-streaming courses are broken down into the following components: 50-80% Live Streaming Lectures (to take place February 27-28), Online Video Content (to be viewed prior to Live Course start dates), and prescheduled Live Office Hours that correspond to the Online Video Modules.

Pre-Course

Each course has pre-course content that must be completed online before the Live Streaming event. The number of hours depends on the course selected. You will receive login instructions via email to access the pre-course study videos on DOCSLiveStream.com.

Office Hours

Part of your experience is interactive two-way video sessions. Each Office Hour corresponds to online study modules and will provide personalized support to help participants master the material. During Office Hours, faculty interacts live with small groups of participants. This allows you to not only get your questions answered but see what questions others have and engage in active conversations that are both stimulating and educational.

Tech Support

Our full-time Tech Support staff is waiting in the wings to quickly address any issues you may encounter. Just make sure you have a stable internet connection.

Regulatory Support

The DOCS Regulatory Attorney is available during lunch and after each Interactive (((Live))) Streaming session to address concerns and questions you may have regarding permits, certificates, and the renewal process.

Interactive Technology

  • Live Streaming: Watch the course in real-time with both presenter and slides on your display.
  • Polling: Each course is designed to test your comprehension with interactive polling software that tracks your responses so instructors can modify their lectures to serve the real-time needs of participants.
  • Q&As: In a more streamlined approach than traditional live programs, additional faculty works in the background during each class to moderate and monitor questions you submit digitally. This allows your questions to be answered immediately for all to see, or held until the presenter is ready to address them personally.
  • Two-Way Video Conferencing: Office hours with faculty in small groups to answer all your questions.

Course Binder

You and any registered team members will receive all course materials necessary to complete your program by mail, including:

  • Expansive participant binders that follow the lecture page-by-page and are designed to be used as a reference manual afterward
  • Detailed information on how to join each session and any technology requirements
  • An easy-to-follow schedule and a checklist to keep you on track
  • Fun surprises you’re going to enjoy!

CE Letters

An important component of the Interactive Live Streaming system is the continuing education credits it entitles you to receive. 

Here’s what you need to know about the CE credits you’ll earn:

  1. Within two weeks, we will email CE certificates to those who complete all elements of their courses (online pre-course, Office Hours, and Live Streaming days). These vary from state to state in terms of what they need in writing, and we will prepare your credits to conform to your state’s requirements.
  2. If you are an Academy of General Dentistry member and would like us to submit your credits to the AGD, please provide your AGD membership number.

Note: Some states, such as California, require that the CE letter be provided directly from us to receive proper credit. If you have any questions about your state’s specific requirements, please ask David Palmer, Esq., our Regulatory Counsel, during scheduled regulatory Office Hour sessions.

Train Your Team

Bringing your team to a DOCS Interactive (((Live))) Streaming event is an investment in the health and longevity of your sedation practice. When they are fully trained and on board with implementing sedation in your practice, success is virtually guaranteed.

Depending on the course, team members will join their doctor in the program, attend specific team breakout sections, or a combination of both. Speak with a Course Advisor for more information. All team members will earn CE for attending.

Casual attire is appropriate for the course.

Conference Newsletter

We’ll be emailing an edition of the DOCS Community Digest to all attendees after the conclusion of the event, which will include information on where you can access the course recordings, as well as exclusive event-only offers.

  • Pre-event technology testing

    • On Thursday, February 26, our Technology staff will be available from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Eastern/4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Pacific time to help you test your system and troubleshoot as necessary, to ensure everything is ready for the next day's Live Stream. 

  • What time do classes start?

    Please be online by 8:55 AM ET/5:55 AM PT to get set up. 
     
    • Friday, classes will begin at 9:00 AM ET/6:00 AM PT
    • Saturday, classes will begin at 9:00 AM ET/6:00 AM PT.
    • You will have a mid-day break for lunch
       
  • When do classes finish?
     
    • All classes will end at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT
