In affiliation with Idaho State University and Meharry Medical College, DOCS Education is excited to offer this unique and time-saving IV Sedation Certification course. This course includes 60 hours of didactic instruction (home-study and live), plus a minimum of 20 live patient experiences required by the ADA guidelines and most state dental boards.  Upon completion of this innovative program, you’ll have the knowledge, clinical skills, and permit qualifications to properly select and safely administer effective parenteral (IV) and enteral (oral) minimal and moderate sedation in an outpatient dental setting.

This is a 13-module video course. It contains 13.5 hours of lectures delivered by Dr. Leslie Fang in front of a live audience. Each module features a one-page summary for quick reference. The modules in the course can be purchased together in a bundle, or individually. This course supports both The Ultimate Cheat Sheets and the 3-CE online course The New ADA Policy on Opioid Prescriptions.

This 8 hour CE course is delivered by John Dovgan, DDS, State Board investigator, and expert witness. How do dentists providing sedation services avoid malpractice claims? Two things. First, they educate themselves on the nuances and peculiarities of anesthetics. Second, they avoid common, but entirely preventable, mistakes.
