Adolescents represent a rapidly expanding demographic yet profoundly underserved dental population. Learn to offer sedation care to those aged 13 to 18 with this course, which stresses the unique physiological and psychological needs of teenagers. This course is taught by a leading pediatric dentist who uses a lecture and discussion format.

7 CE hours

The Essentials of Monitoring the Sedation Patient is designed for sedation team members in Missouri (minimum of 2) to meet the regulations to qualify for a moderate sedation site certificate. This course also meets the requirements for renewal of the site certificate as set by the Missouri Dental Board. Presented by Dr. Allan Schwartz, DDS, CRNA, and DOCS Education, this course will address the protocols and requirements for monitoring a dental patient undergoing sedation. Team Members will earn 15 CE credits.
