Learn how nitrous oxide can be reincorporated into your daily practice to offer relief to anxious patients, and how to safely utilize this treatment while protecting your health and the health of patients and staff. Dr. Carol Wilson will offer tips to increase nitrous oxide success in your office, unravel myths, and deliver practical facts that will make any provider more confident in offering this simple form of mild sedation to the anxious dental patient. 1.5 CE hours

Sedation dentistry methodology and protocols for children are very different than for adults. Therefore, sedation management depends on a thorough appreciation and understanding of the anatomical, physiologic, and pharmacologic differences between the varying ages and rates of growth. This one hour CE course focuses on the anatomy and physiology of children 6 years to puberty, tracing the journey of Midazolam and how it affects different parts of the body.

1 CE hour

Patient monitoring is a crucial component of any IV or oral sedation dentistry practice, and a well-trained team can ensure patient safety. Presented in conjunction with the Washington AGD, this comprehensive course will teach qualified Washington team members proper anesthesia monitoring for maximized patient comfort and increased practice productivity. WA team members will qualify for 16 hours of CE credit after successfully completing the online video modules and live, in-person training on July 12, 2024.

Presented by Dr. Anthony Feck, Dean of Faculty for DOCS Education, this special program focuses on 25 critical safety tips tailored for sedation dentists who are treating a diverse patient population.
