The Essentials of Monitoring the Sedation Patient is designed for sedation team members in Missouri (minimum of 2) to meet the regulations* to qualify for a moderate sedation site certificate, required for the dental office wherein moderate sedation will be performed. Presented by Dr. Allan Schwartz, DDS, CRNA, and DOCS Education, this informative program will explore the concepts, protocols, and requirements for monitoring a patient undergoing sedation in a dental office environment.

From preoperative patient evaluation, selection, and consent, through the enteral sedation itself and on to patient recovery and discharge, participants will learn the basics of monitoring, and how to ensure a safe, successful procedure for patients, dentists, and team.
