Sedation patients often have extensive dental needs, and so our goal is to treat them with safety and efficacy. Because their care can be complex, it’s important to have a sequence of treatment as well as a thorough sedation workup and pre-sedation appointment.

The Essentials of Monitoring the Sedation Patient is designed for sedation team members in Missouri (minimum of 2) to meet the regulations to qualify for a moderate sedation site certificate. This course also meets the requirements for renewal of the site certificate as set by the Missouri Dental Board. Presented by Dr. Allan Schwartz, DDS, CRNA, and DOCS Education, this course will address the protocols and requirements for monitoring a dental patient undergoing sedation. Team Members will earn 15 CE credits.
