In affiliation with Idaho State University and Meharry Medical College, DOCS Education is excited to offer this unique and time-saving IV Sedation course for dentists. This comprehensive program meets or exceeds the American Dental Association's Guidelines for the Use of Sedation and General Anesthesia by Dentists. It includes 60 hours of didactic instruction (home-study and live), plus a minimum of 20 live patient experiences required by the ADA guidelines and most state dental boards. Upon completion, you’ll have the knowledge, clinical skills, and permit qualifications to properly select and safely administer effective parenteral (IV) and enteral (oral), minimal and moderate sedation in an outpatient dental setting.

The dental IV sedation certification program includes 60 CE hours of didactic instruction (home-study and live), plus a minimum of 20 live patient experiences. (90 total CE hours)
