Preparing for a dental board inspection needn’t be stressful for sedation dentists, as long as you understand what’s expected beforehand and have the training and protocols in place to maximize your patients’ safety. In this in-depth course presented by Dr. Steve Yun, MD, anesthesiologist, and medical consultant for DOCS Education, you will learn the most important areas in which to be prepared, including equipment, documentation, medications, and the most common dental office medical emergencies that can occur.

Dr. Yun explains that a good plan is not enough – practice, safety checklists, visual cognitive aids, and a culture of communication will all help ensure a successful dental board inspection.
