Medical emergencies in the dental setting are rare, but it’s vitally important to be prepared in the event of unforeseen occurrences. Learn the essential components of an emergency response dental team in this course presented by DOCS Education and Jim Bovia, EMT-P, who is also the instructor for DOCS’ ACLS certification training.
Jim Bovia will share a recording of an actual team training for a cardiac event, while explaining the six positions of a high-performance emergency team. Participants will review the different roles of dentist and team during an emergency and how to practice effective closed loop communication.
