The course will cover a range of topics related to opioid prescribing and pain management required by the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act, including the risks and benefits of opioids, safe pharmacological management of dental pain and screening, treating and management of patients with substance abuse disorders, patient counseling and education, and more. It is worth 8 CE.

Learning how to identify whether a patient is a good candidate for oral sedation dentistry is one of the most basic and important steps in practicing safe and effective oral sedation. This course 2-hour CE course will help you build confidence in your patient assessment abilities.

2 CE hours

This is a 13-module video course. It contains 13.5 hours of lectures delivered by Dr. Leslie Fang in front of a live audience. Each module features a one-page summary for quick reference. 13.5 CE hours
