Course Description:
Many kids and teens are still presenting with high caries rates, despite best efforts. The last thing busy parents want to hear is that their child needs several dental appointments. Learn how safe and effective minimal oral sedation can benefit not only the child or teen with multiple and/or advanced caries, but can also save time for patient, parent, dentist, and staff.
Join DOCS and esteemed faculty members, Dr. Roger Sanger, DDS, MS (lead pediatric instructor), Dr. Leslie Fang, MD, PhD, and anesthesiologist Dr. Steven Yun, MD, for this once-a-year program. Learn to diminish everyone’s stress by performing one-visit, no-memory sedation on pediatric patients requiring multiple visits.

Bring Your Team:
DOCS Education considers the dental team a vital part of good patient care and urges every dentist to bring at least one staff member to courses. Whether assisting the doctor during the actual appointment or tending to the practical concerns of appointment scheduling and recordkeeping, a doctor cannot perform pediatric sedation without the help of his or her team. Thus, it's imperative your team members be knowledgeable about the pediatric sedation process to better serve the patient and the dentist.
Each states differ in its pediatric sedation regulations. Visit SedationRegulations.com to learn more, or all one of our course advisors to find out what your state requires.
