This gateway course is one of our most popular; it provides the necessary training to administer sedation to healthy adults. Sessions are taught by renowned faculty who are also practicing doctors — a Harvard Medical School professor and distinguished practicing dentists — and cover everything you need to know to integrate adult oral sedation into your practice. DOCS Education offers N₂O sedation training so you can administer safe and comfortable dental care to adult patients. By using single-dose oral sedation in conjunction with nitrous oxide, you can offer greater benefits to anxious patients than using either one separately. In this comprehensive 2-day light sedation course, you’ll learn how to combine these two time-tested methods to better serve your patients.

Meharry Medical College in joint providership with the Washington AGD through its affiliation with DOCS Education has created a new 8-hour course* that fulfills the new one-time opioid course requirement for DEA registration. The course will cover a range of topics related to opioid prescribing and pain management required by the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act, including the risks and benefits of opioids, safe pharmacological management of dental pain and screening, treating and management of patients with substance abuse disorders, patient counseling and education, and more. It is worth 8 CE.

As the country ages, sedation dentists are facing new challenges; patients have more diseases, take more prescription drugs, and carry more surgical implants. In this 3 module 4 hour CE course, Drs. Fang and Feck show you how to assess patients accurately so you can safely treat them.

Learn how nitrous oxide can be reincorporated into your daily practice to offer relief to anxious patients, and how to safely utilize this treatment while protecting your health and the health of patients and staff. Dr. Carol Wilson will offer tips to increase nitrous oxide success in your office, unravel myths, and deliver practical facts that will make any provider more confident in offering this simple form of mild sedation to the anxious dental patient. This course is worth 1.5 CE.
