This is a three-module video course. You’ll earn one hour of continuing education credit upon completion.

High-fear dental patients are delicate. Dental team members not familiar with them can easily misinterpret their mannerisms, behavior, and questions for something else. This confusion makes it hard for dental teams to build trust, the top priority for fearful patients.

In this course, April Burus, a team member in Dr. Anthony Feck’s Lexington office, explains the characteristics and nuances of high-fear patients. She shares the tactics and strategies her team uses to guide patients through treatment, starting with their first inquiry. In each module, April answers questions from the audience—a lively mix of office managers, hygienists, and dental assistants.

1 CE hour

Oral sedation dentistry is a team sport, and investing in their training virtually ensures a thriving practice and happy patients. Your team will learn everything necessary to implement sedation dentistry so you can concentrate on the clinical side of dentistry. In this course, your team will be equipped to provide an even higher quality of care for your patients.

15 CE hours

Prepare your practice efficiently with the 3- hour Team Training Online Video. Evolve into an innovative practice with a well-trained team that can seamlessly implement sedation. Each item works in tandem, allowing for balanced and time-saving training sessions. The Team Training course is fundamental for creating a more knowledgeable and skilled practice.

3 CE hours

Typically, the first contact a current or potential patient has with your practice is with the person who answers the phone. Make sure your front office staff is prepared to make a positive first impression.

You will have access to this two-hour CE course for one year after purchase.

2 CE hours

When a medical emergency occurs in the dental office, dentists and their teams need to think fast and undertake lifesaving actions in order to improve a patient’s chances for a successful outcome. Presented in conjunction with the Washington AGD, this course will thoroughly review the 12 emergency scenarios and provide documentation for you and your team to conduct future in-office trainings yourself. The program will offer 4 hours of in-person training to be completed on July 12, 2024, at the Washington AGD offices in Seattle, Washington. 

Patient monitoring is a crucial component of any IV or oral sedation dentistry practice, and a well-trained team can ensure patient safety. Presented in conjunction with the Washington AGD, this comprehensive course will teach qualified Washington team members proper anesthesia monitoring for maximized patient comfort and increased practice productivity. WA team members will qualify for 16 hours of CE credit after successfully completing the online video modules and live, in-person training on July 12, 2024.
