The course will cover a range of topics related to opioid prescribing and pain management required by the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act, including the risks and benefits of opioids, safe pharmacological management of dental pain and screening, treating and management of patients with substance abuse disorders, patient counseling and education, and more.
