DOCS Education offers N₂O sedation training so you can administer safe and comfortable dental care to adult patients. Meharry Medical College in joint providership with the Washington AGD through its affiliation with DOCS Education has created a new 8-hour course* that fulfills the new one-time opioid course requirement for DEA registration. The course will cover a range of topics related to opioid prescribing and pain management required by the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act, including the risks and benefits of opioids, safe pharmacological management of dental pain and screening, treating and management of patients with substance abuse disorders, patient counseling and education, and more. It is worth 8 CE.
